Kennebunkport is one of Maine’s hidden secrets along its scenic 18 mile coastline, it is located just over the New Hampshire Border and less than 25 miles north of Hampton Beach, NH.

With York’s boundaries was established the first English city in America. As such, the town has a rich history to discover. The town’s historical society maintains the Museums of Old York, nine museum buildings, a nature preserve, art gallery and restored garden. The museum is also home to one of the first jails on American soil.

The town of York is host to a number of annual events, the largest of which is York Days, a week-long celebration in the midst of summer that includes concerts, tournaments, sandcastle building, fairs and fireworks. The event includes a two-day craft fair along with a road race.
